Our mission is to provide “fitness for all”.  This statement is not just a cute saying; it’s at the core of what we teach, and the programs that we offer. 

 

At EAF we have two main focuses:

 

  1. to encourage adults and youths to become more active on a regular basis
  2. to develop a strong physical foundation for young competitive  and recreational athletes 

 

Personal Training:

Genetics does play a part in whether or not adults will live a long life.  However, living a life of activity combined with healthy eating habits can greatly improve the quality of that life.

 

We’re not a body building gym!! At EAF we are dedicated to helping our clients (youths and adults) achieve the best fitness for sport and life with the most unique, fun and effective programs.  We concentrate on safe, sound and proven techniques for getting results. The gym is air-conditioned, easy to get to, spacious, non-intimidating, and it is semi-private.  Our trainers are very experienced, educated and nationally certified.  We know our stuff and live the life we preach.

 

Youth Circuit:

Healthy active youth become healthy active adults. Our trainers teach proper strength training technique and cardio exercises. The main focus is to encourage youth in a positive, safe, and enjoyable manner.  In a sense, this is small group personal training for youth as there are never more than 6 – 8 participants at a time.  We teach our young clients to set personal goals and to strive hard to reach them.  Through positive reinforcement and their consistent effort we have seen amazing improvements in body composition, strength, balance, cardiovascular ability, sport performance, school gym class performance, and school sports team performance in our youth members.

 

Sport Foundation Training

Participants in our Sports Foundation Training program are targeted toward one goal, RESULTS.  Research has consistently proven that controlled strength based development improves athletic performance and reduces incidents of non-contact injuries such as strains and sprains. Our no-non-sense approach to training is based on basic strength development and specific fitness principles taught in a progressive and concise manner. A baseline is established for each athlete.  The progress of the athlete is periodically retested and the results reported back to the athlete.  In the end improved athletic performance should not be a function of luck, but the result of hard work, smart work and perseverance.
